Alan Newcomb, CEO
Alan Newcomb is a lifelong entrepreneur and veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In 1996, Alan—along with cofounder Becky Bennett (see below)—saw an unfulfilled need for professionals to help businesses improve their financial position by securing tax credits and other government incentives. Determined to meet this growing need, Alan and Becky founded Associated Consultants, Inc., the parent company of RetroTax. Today, Alan is responsible for the company’s long term strategic planning and marketing direction.
Becky Bennett, Chief Financial Officer
Becky Bennett is co-owner and chief financial officer of RetroTax, responsible for all financial aspects of the corporation. Becky was the original architect of the proprietary mapping and tax administration systems.
Becky has a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Indiana University. She is passionate about historic restoration and is responsible for the restoration of the company's headquarters, a 1910 American Foursquare in Indianapolis.
Angie Mackey, Chief Operations Officer
Angie Mackey joined Associated Consultants, Inc., the parent company of RetroTax, soon after the company was founded in 1996. Angie worked closely with CFO Becky Bennett in the creation of the company’s original processes and procedures. Before being named RetroTax’s Chief Operating Officer in 2010, Angie held the positions of WOTC Program Director and Chief Analytics Officer. Angie developed and directed the implementation of the company’s state-of-the-art WOTC database and web-based WOTC screening system. She is currently responsible for day-to-day operations at RetroTax.
Angie attended Purdue University in West Lafayette and Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, majoring in Engineering.
Cindy Pfost, Chief Analytics/Technology Officer
Cindy Pfost brings more than a decade of financial services marketing experience to RetroTax. Before joining RetroTax, Cindy spent the majority of her career at Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union, one of Indiana’s largest credit unions, where she led the design, implementation and launch of the company’s internet banking site, and provided marketing leadership and direction for numerous other financial services products. Cindy was also part of a leadership team that developed and implemented customer satisfaction programs and corporate brand development strategies. In her current role as Chief Analytics/Technology Officer, Cindy is responsible for all IT management and direction of information technology initiatives for RetroTax. Cindy has a master’s degree in Public Relations from Ball State University as well as bachelor’s degrees in Telecommunications and History from Indiana University, Bloomington.
